Academic Department

Institutional scholarships and awards are available for students attending classes on the main campus in Highland. Students attending the technical center and living on campus or with parents/guardians in Doniphan County are also eligible for institutional awards. Scholarships are not valid for online classes, whether or not a student is living on campus. View

Athletic

Athletic Scholarships pay for books and tuition andare renewable each semester provided the student-athlete meets all GPA and participation requirements set forth by the Kansas Junior College Athletic Association, HCC, and the coach. View

Technical Center

Tech Center Students who are full-time at the Tech Center or part-time at the Tech Center and part-time on the Highland campus may be eligible for a book and tuition scholarship.

Regional Scholarships

Up to ten, $500 scholarships may be awarded each year to students attending a regional center. Students must enroll in at least six credit hours at a Regional Center to qualify.

Foundation Scholarships

The Highland Community College Foundation provides over $50,000 of scholarships to support a variety of majors.  Students must enroll full-time and make satisfactory academic progress.  Scholarship recipients must write a Thank You Letter and have their photo taken before funds will be released to the student's account.  View Application
