Welcome to Highland Community College! Follow the steps below to get started and make sure you visit campus!
Whether you want to take classes on the Highland campus, Technical Center, a Regional Center, or online, applying for an admission is easy. Just follow these steps!
• Submit official (sealed) high school and/or college transcripts. Official General Educational Development (GED) transcripts are also accepted.
Note: Only transcripts sent electronically or by mail or fax directly to HCC from the issuing institution are considered official.
Submit your ACT or SAT scores if you have them. If you haven’t taken either of these tests, don’t worry! Prior to enrollment, you can schedule an appointment to take the ACCUPLACER test, for Technical programs you can take the WorkKeys test. HCC can also use your high school or GED overall GPA for placement.
For students planning to live on campus, you must fill out your housing contract plus submit your deposit as soon as possible. Room assignments are on a first-come, first-serve basis. After your application for admission is processed, you'll receive a link to apply for housing.
New students who are ready to enroll in classes should make an enrollment appointment if they are planning to attend the Highland campus as their primary location. New students planning to attend a regional location or online may enroll themselves.
