The Highland Community College men’s cross country team competed Saturday morning at the Bob Timmons Dual Classic hosted by the University of Kansas and took first place in the non-Division I competition.
The Scotties again were paced by freshman Brian Martinez (Pasadena, TX) with an 18th place finish in 20:44.32. Sophomores Seth Parres (O’Fallon, MO) and Brett Simshauser (Cuba, MO) finished in 20th and 25th places respectively. The meet was won by Tyler Yunk from Kansas University with a time of 19:34.19.
The Scotties next travel to the Northwest Missouri Invitational Meet on Friday, Sept. 6.
