Both Highland Community College cross country teams were in action on Friday evening at the Northwest Missouri Bearcat Open Meet.
The Scottie women harriers were led by sophomore Crystal Hoard (Randolph) with a 21st place finish in 27:19. Sophomore Hannah Olsen (St. Joseph, MO) finished in 24th place while sophomore Becky Geib (Fairfax, MO) was the 27th place finisher. Freshman Jordyn Mize (Nortonville) was the 33rd runner to cross the finish line. Sophomore Kelsey Warren (Berryton) rounded out the scoring for the Scotties, finishing in 36th place.
The Scotties are on the road again onSaturday, September 21, at the Woody Greeno Invitational Meet hosted by the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
