The Highland Community College men’s basketball team’s losing streak increased to three games with a road loss at Allen County on Saturday night by the final of 89-76. On Wednesday, Neosho County dropped the Scotties at home by the final of 95-84.
Against Neosho County, sophomores De’Andre Upchurch (Flint, MI) and Phil Henry (Marlton, NJ) led the Scotties with 22 points each. Henry led the team with 10 rebounds. Sophomore Roderick Camphor (Baltimore, MD) had 21 points in the loss.
At Allen County, Upchurch led Highland with 23 points. Camphor contributed with 19 points and Henry had 18 points.
The Scotties are now 10-9 overall and 4-4 in Jayhawk Eastern Conference play. They next host the #2 ranked Coffeyville Red Ravens on Wednesday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m.
