Highland’s Terry Named POW for Third Time

Highland sophomore Marquis Terry (Atlanta, GA) earned his third Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Offensive Player of the Week award after another dominant performance last Saturday against Iowa Western.

The 5'9, 180 pound sophomore rushed the ball 34 times for 167 yards and three touchdowns in Highland's 24-15 victory over Iowa Western. As head coach Aaron Arnold put it, Terry "put the team on his back Saturday afternoon." This was Highland's first ever victory over the Reivers.

Terry has rushed for over 100 yards in four games this season and leads the KJCCC in rushing touchdowns with 12. He is second in yards per game with 103.6. Terry also is fifth in the NJCAA in rushing touchdowns.

Terry has led the Scotties to a 5-3 record this season with three games remaining. The Scotties travel to Fort Scott on Saturday to take on the Greyhounds at 7:00 pm.
