The Highland Community College Ag Club helped promote National Agriculture Day the week of March 5-9. The week’s activities included creating posters to display around campus to promote one of the largest U.S. industries -- agriculture. On Thursday, March 8, members passed out free boxes of breakfast cereal as students entered the College cafeteria for lunch with each box having a label display an interesting “ag fact”. Other activities for the week included members doing radio ads promoting agriculture and a morning breakfast with area agribusiness people, many of whom are HCC Ag Alumni.
