The Scotties led 41-17 at the half and were up by as much as 38 before the final score of 82-49. The Scotties were led in scoring by freshman Ashley Torres with 15, Carina Jackson 14, Janelle Saling 14. and TaMiya Green 13. Green posted her fifth double double of the year with 18 rebounds. Jaaron Kassanavoid also had 12 rebounds.
“We are getting better every day, and we have to work on being consistent. However, winning is not easy, and we are happy to win,” said Smith
The Scotties are back in action Friday at home vs North Central Missouri College at 5:00 pm.
