Highland to Hold Christmas Concert

Sounds of Home for the Holidays will be heard emanating from Culbertson Auditorium on the campus of Highland Community College when the HCC vocal music groups will be joined by the band for two evenings of traditional Christmas music to start the holiday season.  Home for the Holidays will be performed at 7:30 in the evenings of Thursday, December 5, and Saturday, December 7.  Admission to the performance is open to the public free of charge.

Audience members will be entertained as they enter Culbertson Auditorium from 7:10 to 7:30 by the Highland band, directed by Dr. Cheryl Rasmussen, performing memorable Christmas tunes.  The vocal groups will then take to the Mary Helen Porter Stage starting at 7:30.  The vocal groups – HCC Chorus and Lads and Lassies – are under the direction of Shayna Leahy.
