Highland Officials Planning Homecoming 2014

Homecoming planning is well under way at Highland Community College as the College prepares to honor its Golden Graduates of 1964.   HCC Homecoming 2014 will be on Saturday October 11 when the Scotties will host the Tritons of Iowa Central Community College in a 1:00 kickoff.

Prior to the Homecoming game, the HCC Alumni Association will hold a registration of honored Class of ’64 members and their guests at 9:00 am in the Library.  From 9:30-11:00, the Golden Grads, guests, and friends will have the chance to visit, catch up, and tell lies about the good ol’ days.  Anyone interested will also be able to take a tour of the campus at this time.  At 11:00, Kelly Twombly, Director of Alumni Services, will officially welcome those assembled in the Library prior to a lunch.  HCC President David Reist will provide a short update on happenings at the College, and Dr. Craig Mosher, Vice President for Institutional Advancement will introduce the recipients of the Alumni Association scholarships.  At 12:30, those assembled will re-convene in the Barber Room of the Scottie Stadium Center for a reception which all alumni and the general public is invited to attend prior to the 1:00 kickoff.

Members of the Golden Graduate Class of 1964 who have yet to register to attend are encouraged to contact Twombly at 442.6018 or ktwombly@highlandcc.edu.  You can also access registration material on the College Web site at www.highlandcc.edu.
