HVAC and Plumbing (1 yr)

From the moment you start the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Plumbing program at Highland Community College Technical Center you will be installing, diagnosing and repairing a variety of HVAC and plumbing problems. A very practical, hands-on application of your knowledge is demonstrated by working with the Building Trades and Electrical Technology programs in the construction of a house.

The HVAC and Plumbing shop offers a variety of up-to-date equipment and trainers to prepare for a career as a HVAC and Plumbing technician. Full-time students can expect to complete this program within nine-months.

Note: A student must complete either 2 – 1 year programs or 1 -- 2 year program, plus take these general studies classes in order to be awarded an Associate in Applied Science degree. Technical courses can be no more than 5 years old.
