Crystal Hoard, a sophomore from Randolph, finished her Highland Community College cross country career with an 86th place finish at the NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championship. The meet was hosted by Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA. In the women's division, 61 schools were represented with 280 runners. Hoard ran a career best time of 20:21 in very windy conditions. Her time places her 9th on the all-time College 5K list. She will now begin her training for the indoor track season which started October 1. This year’s indoor championship is in New York City.
