Highland Women Excel at Track and Field
The 2012 Highland Community College women’s track team went to Johnson County Community College for the Cavalier Night Relays on January 28. Freshman runner Mary Kate Taylor (Chillicothe, MO) set a field house record and won the 3,000 meter in 11:46.07. Sophomore Cassie Waggoner (Everest) qualified for nationals with a high jump of 1.60 meters (5’3”).
