The Highland Community College women’s basketball team has moved up to the number six spot in the NJCAA National Rankings.
After having one of the best starts in school history at 15-1, the women from Highland have climbed two more notches in the national rankings from number eight to six. "I have always liked being ranked, and I think it is great for our school and program, but with nine freshmen and not one player who played college basketball last season, we have to keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand,” said Head Coach BJ Smith.
