University of Kansas women’s basketball coach Bonnie Henrickson will be the keynote speaker at the Highland Community College women’s basketball banquet. The banquet will be held April 23 at 6:00 pm at the Highland community center. Kansas is coming off an incredible finish to its season, making the Sweet 16 for the first time in KU history. The Scotties are coming off their most successful season in school history, going 28-4 in head coach B.J. Smith’s first season, and were ranked as high as fourth in the country.
The banquet is open to the public. Prior to April 23 at noon, tickets for the banquet meal and program are at $10; after noon on April 23 and at the door, tickets will be $15.
