Faculty and staff at the Highland Community College Technical Center supported the Relay for Life event that took place in Atchison County on June 7 to raise funds for the fight against cancer. The Technical Center team walked to meet monetary challenges from 6:30 pm to midnight. The team was able to exceed its goal of $500 by raising a total of $700 for the American Cancer Society.
The Highland Community College Technical Center Team consisted of Tracy Kane (captain), Terri Ball, Janean Bowen, Cynthia Jacobson, Julie Martinez, Laura Moccia, Stephanie Peterson, and Mary Cathryn Vollmer. The team members thank all their supporters who helped them exceed their goal.
