The Western Center Fall Open House benefited attendees of the Nov. 2 event.

During the event, Western Center staff and students met with Advisory Committee members for an annual fall meeting to gather feedback about the technical programs offered at the Western Center. Several visitors also toured the Center as well as former students, prospective students and their families and friends. The Country Cabin food truck from Hiawatha was also a huge hit among visitors and was open until 7 p.m.

Additionally, the Western Center would like to thank the HCC Foundation and donors – Ag Partners, Roger ’70 and Joyce Rush, Jere Bruning, Ken ’70 and Mary ’70 McCauley, Francis ’75 and Jane Kelsey and AHRS Construction – who provided financial support to build a much-needed pole barn for storage of the Center’s agricultural equipment.
