HIGHLAND, Kan. – The Highland Community College football team knocked off the Garden City Broncbusters by the final of 20-17 on the road Saturday night. The win guaranteed the Scotties of their first-ever playoff appearance in the Jayhawk Conference.
The Scotties, 5-3 overall and 4-2 in Jayhawk Conference play, took the early lead and held on for their fifth win of the year. Highland heads into a bye week before hosting the Independence Pirates on Saturday, October 26 at Kessinger Field. Kick-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
