Johnson Joins Highland Community College as Director of Marketing

Highland Community College has hired Rebecca Johnson to serve as their Director of Marketing. A native of Southeast Nebraska, Johnson brings nearly 15 years of experience in higher education marketing. She’ll be working to promote Highland and its regional centers.
After starting her career at Peru State College in Peru, NE, Johnson has most recently served as the Assistant Director of Communications, Marketing and External Relations at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln’s College of Business.
Johnson said of her appointment, “I’m thrilled to join the staff at Highland. I see a lot of positive things happening at here and I am very excited to be able to help Highland continue to grow.”
Johnson holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management from Peru State College and lives in Auburn, Nebraska with her husband, Tony, and two sons, Jack and Max.
