Former Highland softball standout Tayler Nave (Topeka), now playing at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS, was named College Sports Madness Player of the Week in the SWAC conference for her outstanding play over the past week. While at Highland, Nave was a two-time All-Conference, two-time All-Region, and NJCAA All-American athlete. She batted .410 over her two seasons at the College while homering 25 times and setting the school record for steals in a season with 42 and career with 81.
