Nursing classroom and lab courses are held on the campus of the Highland Community College Technical Center in Atchison, Kansas. Nursing clinical courses are conducted at various healthcare settings throughout northeast Kansas. Specific Needs for upcoming semesters include:

Fall 2020: Full Time Instructor Practical Nursing Program: BSN required, MSN preferred
  • 9-month contract (fall and spring semesters)
  • Schedule is Monday through Wednesday Classroom 0730-1530 Thursday & Friday Clinical generally 0600-1430 (may vary slightly by site)
Clinical adjunct part-time faculty positions: BSN required/MSN preferred
  • Medical-Surgical Nursing (PN Program)
We are in need of faculty in the Topeka area
8 – hour day shifts on Thursdays and Fridays (October – December, February – March)
  • Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing (RN Program) February through March
Mondays/Tuesdays 8-hour day shifts
  • Mental Health Nursing (RN Program) April through May
Mondays/Tuesdays 8-hour day shifts
  • Professional Practicum (RN Program) June & July
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 8-hour day shifts
