Group of 5 Students Walking Outside

HCC Marketing is the official point of contact for media and external marketing initiatives at Highland Community College. This page includes resources, templates, and information for all things marketing and branding at HCC.

Branding Standards & Style Guide

Our branding standards and style guide includes the HCC wordmarks, logos, images, and more.

The horizontal version of the wordmark is considered to be the primary wordmark of the institution. The stacked wordmark is the secondary option and should be used when space is limited. Logos should only appear in navy and white. Any other color formats must be approved by the Marketing Department prior to usage.

This guide seeks to provide rules and procedures for graphically representing Highland Community College. The information contained within serves to create and maintain a cohesive marketing presence in the region, on-campus, online, and beyond.

Our Services

Consistent imaging is a critical component of how we communicate about Highland Community College. Adhering to defined graphics standards enables clear messaging and aids in the branding of the College. In part, it is crucial that no outside marketing materials be displayed or used in any form without the approval of the Department of Marketing.

All new sites and social media accounts associated with Highland Community College must be reviewed by the Highland Community College Marketing Department.

For in-house printing, the marketing department will invoice your department for printed items. The Business office will transfer money between budgets (like the Bookstore does for office supplies).

Outsourcing: Quantities over 100 or items that require cutting, folding, addressing, mailing, etc. Departments cover the cost of outsourcing.
