Maintenance Manager
A Millwright is well-versed in the latest diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
The focus of this
position will be on setting up, maintaining, and repairing intricate and sometimes
massive machines. The
Millwright position is responsible for providing maintenance, welding, and fabrication
work across the
company to facilities and equipment as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.)
- Ability to be a team player due to the interactions with similar employees and stakeholders
such
as Engineers, Location Managers, and Part Vendors, amongst others - Assembling and installing machines then testing them to make sure they are working correctly.
- Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations.
- Managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to
ensure
minimum downtime. - Identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making
temporary
repairs, or installing new parts. - Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to solve machine issues
- Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read
documents
such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints - Dismantling older machines and replacing them with new ones.
- Overseeing preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues,
removing worn
out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts. - Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts.
- Requires use and familiarization with a tape measure and hand tools.
- Must be able to perform simple math and decimal-to-fraction conversions.
- Interprets prints, drawings, plans, or job write-ups and applies fabrication or welding
techniques to complete projects. - Uses various mechanical hand and power tools/equipment.
- Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures
- Digging trenches and backfilling holes
- Operating equipment and heavy machinery
- Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors
- Loading and unloading building materials

Tissue Acquisition Specialist

Position Purpose:
This mission-centered position is responsible for the acquisition of birth tissue,
from obtaining consent to packaging and shipping of the tissue and any additional
duties assigned to them by their supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with birth hospital staff.
Provide education regarding the donation process and offer the option of tissue donation
to potential donors.
Review medical records and obtain consent for the donation.
Perform donor medical history reviews and physical assessment.
Gather pertinent data and accurately relay information to appropriate internal/external
partners.
Acquire birth tissue for transplant and research purposes.
Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and industry standards/regulations
throughout the process.
Responsible for transporting supplies, tissue and blood samples to and from Saving
Sight facilities.
Prepare birth tissue and biological specimens for transport.
Perform facility cleaning and equipment maintenance as required.
Accurately document donor and tissue information on reports and in eye bank database
system.
Maintain Inventory and stock recovery supplies.
Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures and protocols and execute job responsibilities
in accordance with such policies, procedures and protocols.
Follows all Saving Sight Operating Procedures, EBAA medical standards, and other state
and federal guidelines.
Work with management staff to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory
standards.
Perform other duties as required.
