2013 Registration Dates
New Students
All new, first time HCC students for all HCC locations must complete an online application for admission. Students attending the Highland campus will receive information about new student enrollment days for fall enrollment or be assigned directly to an advisor for a spring enrollment. To sign up for an enrollment date, click here.
Students requesting enrollment at the Wamego, Perry, Holton, or Atchison sites will receive an email after completing the online application with all enrollment information. Click here for a list of enrollment dates where financial aid and advising specialists are available at each regional center.
New students wishing to take courses online select online enrollment.
All new students will need placement test scores for placment in reading, math, and English. HCC offers placement testing at all regional sites and on campus. Click here for a placement testing schedule. ACT or SAT test scores will also be accepted for placement.
Current Students
Current HCC students attending classes on campus must see their advisor to enroll. Regional Center and online students are encouraged to meet with the regional student services representative before enrolling in classes. Following the meeting, students may log in to their MyHCC accounts to enroll. Generally, HCC opens fall and summer enrollment in early March and spring enrollment in late October.

Financial Aid Posted to Accounts
Students with financial aid awarded prior to July 2 for the fall semester (October 2 for the spring semester) and who enroll on or before mid July (mid October for spring) will have financial aid posted to their student accounts for the Fall (or spring) semester. Please check your MyHCC account to view your statement.
All students who have not been awarded financial aid by July 2 and/or enroll after mid July (or October 2 and enroll after mid October for spring) must be prepared to make payment online through their MyHCC acccount or during Campus and Regional registrations days without the benefit of a financial aid estimate. Upon completion of all financial aid paperwork, financial aid payments will be processed. Please see the chart below for dates and times of all HCC Registration Days.

What happens on New Student Enrollment and Regional Center Student Services Days?
At HCC, we pride ourselves in offering personalized enrollment service to both our new and returning students. New Student Enrollment Days are hosted on the Highland campus and are designed for all new students planning to attend classes at the Highland Campus. Student Services Days are designed for all students attending one of HCC's regional centers. On each of these days, students have the opportunity to meet with an advisor to schedule classes and meet with a financial aid representative to receive assistance with FAFSA. Students enrolling for their last semester before receiving their HCC degree will also be able to receive the required graduation check on Regional Center Student Services Days days.

Enrollment Information for Highland Campus Students
Enrollment for fall opens March 25, 2013. New students who have not previously enrolled may enroll on registration day. Returning campus students must schedule an appointment to enroll with their advisor before leaving for the semester and enroll through their MyHCC account.
Enrollment Information for Highland Tech Center Students
New and returning Technical Center Students may enroll by appointment at HCC’s Technical Center in Atchison by calling or emailing Amy Dulac, 913-367-6204.
Enrollment Information for Regional Center Students
Enrollment for summer and fall opens in mid March. Enrollment for spring opens in late October. Returning students may enroll through their MyHCC account at any time before the published enrollment or registration days. New regional students will receive email with all enrollment information and may enroll through their MyHCC account at any time before the published enrollment or registration days.
What is a Registration Day?
Registration day at all of the regional centers and on the Highland campus is the last day to enroll and make final payments for the semester. Textbooks are distributed at registration days on the Highland campus and at the Tech Center. All HCC students should attend a registration day at the campus or center where most of their classes are being taken.
