Highland Community College Cheer and Dance Coach Kelly Twombly has announced that three members of the 2015-16 Cheer Squad will be continuing their academic and athletic careers next year. Megan Besmer (Leavenworth) has signed a letter of intent with Missouri Western State University. She is the daughter of Martin and Tina Besmer. De’Ericka Glover (Kansas City, KS) has signed with Kansas State University. She is the daughter of Michelle Dangerfield-Smith. Allison Thompson (Tonganoxie) has also signed with Kansas State University. Thompson is the daughter of Adam and Margery Thompson. All three have been a member of the Scottie Cheerleaders for two years.
