Highland hosted the annual College and Career Planning Conference sponsored by KACRAO (Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers) Monday, Oct. 2 at 9 a.m. in the Walters Wellness Center.
In attendance were 42 post-secondary schools, 120 area high school students and approximately 100 current Highland Scotties seeking to learn transfer information.
Director of Admissions, Taylor Marriott, said, “It was a great morning! I am appreciative of our local counselors for encouraging their students to participate and start planning for their futures. I’m also grateful to our own Director of Advising, Kristy Sumpter, for pushing our College Success classes to come learn transfer information and explore their options after their time at HCC.”
