Highland Community College’s baseball outfielder, Justin Paul, a sophomore from Omaha, NE, was rewarded for his great season by being named First Team All-Conference, and was also voted on to the eleven player All Region VI Team which is made up of the top players out of the nineteen community colleges in the region. He was the top vote getter for outfielders on both teams.
Paul hit .418 with thirteen doubles, four triples, seven home runs, and forty-four RBIs in thirty-six conference games, and ended the season hitting .395 with sixteen doubles, five triples, eleven home runs, and sixty RBIs in fifty-two games played. He has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to continue playing at Eastern New Mexico next fall, and has also been invited to the Kansas City Royals pre-draft camp at the end of this month.
