Coach Diana Gaddis’ Highland Community College volleyball squad will be competing in the NJCAA DII District N Championships to be held at Johnson County Community College. The colleges in the eastern division of the Jayhawk Conference are divided into two districts and seeded based on their regular season records. The champions of both districts will qualify for the National Tournament to be held ont he campus of Owens Community College in Toledo, OH, on November 21-23.
The sixth-seeded Scotties will tip off against Kansas City Kansas Community College, the three seed, at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 9, in the District N Championship. Host Johnson County, the number two seed, will take on Allen County Community College, the seventh seed, at 9:00 am. The District N Championship game will take place one hour after the completion of the Highland/KCK match.
Those in District M are the number one seed Cowley College who will play Fort Scott, the eight seed. The other match will be the four seed, Butler, and the five seed, Neosho.
