Highland's Collins Named NJCAA Player of the Week

Highland’s Collins Named National Player of the Week
Highland Community College sophomore men’s basketball player Martell Collins was named the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week for the week of January 27 to February 2. Collins, a 6’4” sophomore from Milwaukee, WI, averaged 22 points and 14 rebounds last week in key wins over Johnson County and Brown Mackie. In addition to his scoring, Collins averaged 14 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game.
The Scotties next play at home against Fort Scott Community College on Wednesday, February 12 at 7:00 p.m.
