Members of Coach BJ Smith’s women’s basketball team at Highland Community College earned recognition from the NJCAA for achieving a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The team GPA counts all members of the team. Women’s basketball team members who also earned special recognition were Faith Rolen (Carrollton, TX) and India Johnson (Overland Park) who earned NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement with a 3.80-4.00 grade point average,
