Highland Hires Student Life Director
Taylor Allen has assumed the responsibilities as Director of Student Life at Highland Community College starting on June 20. Allen comes from Missouri Western State University where she was an Admissions Assistant since 2013. At Missouri Western, she processed applications and answered questions for students and guardians. She has also served as a substitute teacher for the St. Joseph School District. Allen received her bachelor’s degree from Missouri Western State University in Convergent Journalism with a minor in Speech Communication. In her role as Director of Student Life, Allen will process all housing contracts, speak with students and parents about HCC housing, and supervise and direct Resident Assistants.
