Highland BPA Members to Receive Honors
Two members of the Highland Community College Technical Center chapter of Business Professionals of America (BPA) -- Jacklynn Clary (Troy) and Elizabeth Iles-Lucius (Atchison) -- will be receiving honors at the 2016 BPA National Leadership Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. Both students are enrolled in the Administrative Assistant Program at HCCTC instructed by Carrie Miller.
Clary and Iles-Lucius will both be receiving the Ambassador Torch Award. To receive this award students must earn 70 points in each of the seven Torch Award categories: Leadership, Service, Cooperation, Knowledge, Patriotism, Friendship, and Love, Hope, Faith. This award helps students build a strong resume full of experiences and acts of kindness.
The Ambassador Torch Award will be presented during the Honor Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the National Conference.
