Highland Community College head baseball coach Rick Eberly is taking his team to the first round of the NJCAA Region VI Tournament when they travel to Colby for a game on Saturday, May 4, at a time to be announced. With a record of 23-24, Highland is the fifth-ranked team in the Eastern Division of the Region and will be facing 37-17 Colby, the fourth-ranked team in the West. This first round is the best two of three format, with the third game, if necessary, taking place on Sunday, May 5. Winners in the first round will proceed to the Region VI Championship Tournament at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, May 10-14.
