Students from Highland Community College's HSTC and GSA clubs put on a food drive on October 31 to raise canned goods for the youth of the Highland community. The event, titled Cans for Kids, received generous and warm responses from the surrounding communities. Residents donated a total of more than 325 canned goods this year which were donated to the Doniphan County Food Pantry. The students heartily thank all who contributed and hope to keep this tradition alive for years to come. In addition, the students encourage the public to visit Culbertson Auditorium on November 16 and 17 at 7:00 p.m. and November 18 at 2:00 p.m. for this fall’s theatre production of Noises Off!
