Highland’s Jordan Named Coach of the Year
Heidi Jordan, the head softball coach at Highland Community College, has been named 2015 Coach of the Year for the Eastern Division of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. Jordan’s Scotties had yet another highly successful season, landing an institutional record five players on the Eastern Division All-Conference First Team and another on the Second Team. Assisted by her husband, Scott, Jordan returned to her alma mater as the assistant in 2003 and assumed the head job in 2004. The Scotties won the first round of the Regional Playoffs and are headed to Topeka’s Hummer Sports Complex on May 2 and 3 to complete Regional Playoff action.
