The 15th nationally ranked Highland Community College women’s basketball team swept the Bethany College JV 106-42 and Culver-Stockton JV 103-28 in the Bill and Annie Mueller Blue and Gold Classic to start the season 2-0.
The Scotties led start to finish in both contests, creating a combined 86 turnovers and had 41 assists. “We did some things well and some things not so well. We have lots of room for improvement,” stated Head Coach BJ Smith.
The Highland women resume action this Wednesday when they head to Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA to take on the Panthers.
