After starting out in preseason polls ranked eighth, the Highland Community College volleyball team has improved to a sixth seed ranking. The Scotties are currently 2-2 in Jayhawk Conference play as they just lost to Johnson County this past week. They started their conference season with a win against Fort Scott. They then traveled to KCK, where they were defeated in three, but then came back with a vengeance against the Red Devils of Allen County, beating them in three. This Wednesday, September 25 at 5:30 pm they are looking to lock in the fifth seed when they play Neosho County in the friendly confines of Allen Field House.
