Highland to Hold Family Day

Family Day activities at Highland Community College will be held throughout Northeast Kansas on Saturday, September 22.  The Day’s activities will start with the annual Wild Dog Motorcycle Ride at 8:30 am.  The Wild Dog ride will conclude with a pass around Kessinger Field on the HCC campus prior to the Family Day football game when the Scotties play host to nationally ranked Butler for a 1:00 kickoff.  Family Day activities at the College will then move to the Klinefelter Farm, located off the Mulberry Road exit on Highway 36 east of Hiawatha, with activities starting at 2:00 when the Klinefelter Barn will be open for public viewing.  Following the football game, the popular local band True North will play at the Farm from a location to the east of the Barn from 5:30 to 8:00, and grilled hot dogs and refreshments will be available after 5:00.
