Student Leaders at Highland Community College have been learning about the effects of hunger in America and opportunities to address that issue locally. As a result, they will be raising funds for the Highland Food Pantry by selling Indian tacos for $5 during the basketball games on February 29 when the Scotties host Allen County in Ben Allen Field House on the HCC campus. Serving will start at the beginning of the women’s game at 5:00 and continue through halftime of the men’s game or until the food runs out. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Highland Food Pantry.
