Highland Presents Arts at the Barn

The popular Arts at the Barn series, a series of performances conducted by Highland Community College at its Klinefelter Barn, has announced upcoming events for the coming year. In addition to these events, there will be more events to come.

Square Dance Workshop

July 9 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

            All ages welcome

Prairiescapes

            July 15 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Quilted murals of the Flint Hills by Emporia State professor Brian Grove

Fabric Art Workshop

            July 29 with time TBD

Bring your own sewing machine and learn to make quilted murals with Brian Grove

            September 10 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

This concert features two of the world’s most talented acoustic guitarists and harp guitarists who are international performers and recording artists. Both are very close friends of and regularly perform with Tommy Emmanuel. 

Big Band at the Barn

            November 5 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Those who enjoyed the Broadway at the Barn event last fall will also enjoy this event which features area musicians performing big band era numbers.
