The Highland Community College men’s track and field team was again honored this past season (2012-2013) by the NJCAA Track Coaches Association as one of the selections for Academic Team of the Year. Coach Chad Clevenger’s team was also honored with three recipients named Academic All-American by the Track Coaches Association: Derick Schluter of Maryville, MO; Dakoda McDaniel of Lecompton; and Jonathan Ippert of Frankfort.
