Four members of the Highland Community College football team earned selection to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams in the post season. All four were defensive players for the Scotties in Head Coach Ryan Held’s first season.
Safety Brandon King, a 6’2” 210 pound sophomore from Alabaster, AL, led the selections, claiming a spot on the First Team. Fellow defensive back Contereze Pierce, a 5’9” 170 pound freshman corner from Jonesboro, GA was named to the Second Team. Earning Honorable Mention were defensive tackle Tony Tanumai, a 6’0” 270 pound freshman from Independence, MO, and Milwaukee, WI sophomore corner Marwin Evans, who checks in at 6’1” and 190 pounds.
