Annual Musical Production Comes to Highland

The theatre and music departments of Highland Community College are presenting their version of the musical, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." This musical is a creative rendition of the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers.  Audiences will recognize that  biblical accuracy is the focus; rather the production is a modern version which engages the audience as well as producing a range of emotions throughout the performance.  From the emotions portrayed by the brothers about Joseph and his wonderful coat, to Pharaoh rolling onstage in his "1957 Chevy chariot," this performance is creatively directed by Graham Cooper and Yvette Cook - the College’s theatre and instrumental music instructors.

This is an exciting "one of a kind" musical production that is sure to be remembered for years.

Performances are as follows: Friday, April 26th, at 7:30 pm; Saturday, April 27th, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, April 28th at 2:00 pm.  Admission to all performances is free of charge.
