Pre-ETS is an initiative of the vocational rehabilitation program, a program of Rehabilitation Services of the Kansas Department for Children and Families. Pre-ETS is a new program requirement of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Pre-ETS Transition Specialist will provide the 5 required Pre-ETS services, the Pre-ETS optional services, conduct outreach activities for school personnel, students with disabilities, and family members, and who will participate in development of transition IEPs as appropriate and available. White Castle Roofing is offering an opportunity for students to get a hands-on education through our 12-week Seasonal Internship. Interns will gain valuable experience in the construction management process both in the office and in the field through rotations in commercial or residential roofing services and management. Start and end dates can be flexible, but generally the internship will run from mid-May through mid-August, up to 40 hours per week required. This is a paid internship, $14 hourly wage. At the conclusion of the internship, a formal evaluation with White Castle Roofing’s supervisory staff will be provided, and a permanent position may be offered depending on performance. Required Skills:

Each intern will be assigned a mentor who will provide periodic feedback on performance and completion of assigned tasks. Interns will also be required to report to our Lincoln office, and while housing advice may be offered, the intern must provide his or her own housing.
