Bachelor's in Education or related field required; Master's in Counseling or Education preferred.
Three years adult level counseling or equivalent. Experience coordinating student assessment and advising projects preferred.

The Athletics Academic Advisor is a campus student-athlete advocate. The Advisor is resonsible for the oversight of the student tutors, has the capability to advise students in most academic areas, and will work with other universities/colleges to follow proper transfer protocols. The Advisor meets with struggling students to develop an academic plan for success and notifies college advisors periodically when students need academic intervention.
