Believing that assessment is critical to achieving the mission and purposes of Highland Community College, a plan was implemented to assess student outcomes. The in-class assessment is the essential component of the multi-faceted program. As an instructor for HCC, you play an important role in the process.
Each semester, the Vice President for Academic Affairs determines the course areas that will be assessed. If you are teaching a course in one of those areas, you will be asked to complete an instructor review form at the end of the semester.
If you teach in the region, the instructor review form should be submitted to your regional coordinator.
If you teach at the Highland campus site, the instructor review form should be submitted to the Vice President of Academic Affair's office.
