Elementary Education is a transfer program for students who plan to complete an associate in arts degree at HCC and then transfer to another institution to complete a bachelor’s degree. Most elementary education programs require passing the Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST). Elementary school teachers may teach a number of subjects to one group of students or teach one or two subjects to several groups daily.
