Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) – BS240

This course prepares the individual with knowledge and skills to work in Emergency Medical Service (EMS) field. Topics covered include pharmacology, airway management, patient assessment, anatomy and physiology, trauma, special patient populations and EMS operations. This course prepares individuals to sit for National and State certification and is based on the Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services curriculum.
