After being away from the College for five years, Chris Parks is returning to Highland Community College as the Information Technology (IT) Network Administrator. Previously the MIS Coordinator in the IT Department, Parks left Highland to work for Lifeline Foods as the IT Manager and then for TechTeam in St. Joseph, MO, as a Systems Administrator.
A native of New Jersey, Parks graduated from Lenape High School in Medford, NJ and earned an AAS degree from Athens Technical College in Athens, GA. After working toward a bachelor’s degree at Missouri Western State University, he completed that degree from Fort Hays State University in Information Networking and Telecommunications.
Parks will begin his new duties at the College when it resumes operations after the holidays on January 4.
