Home Health Aide (HHA) – NUR209
2 credit hour
Prerequisite: NUR201 and completion of reading exam
This course provides knowledge and skills necessary to assist elderly or disabled adults with routine personal care and support services in their home. Tasks that might be performed at the clients home include housekeeping (making beds, laundry, washing dishes) and cooking meals. This course prepares individuals to sit for the Kansas Home Health Aide exam and is based on the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Home Health Aide Curriculum.
